BUA Foods reported a 90.9 per cent boost in after-tax profit for 2025, taking its earnings to the highest on record amid a reasonable jump in revenue and drop in cost pressures. Also boosting earning, net finance (costs) income fell by as much as 92.3 per cent to N14.4 billion. “Looking ahead, BUA Foods remains focused on margin preservation within a competitive operating environment while advancing its ongoing business expansion projects,” he added. Profit before tax rose to N534.9 billion from N284.3 billion, while profit after tax climbed to N507.7 billion from N266 billion. Net profit margin, a profitability metric which measures how much of revenue that has been turned into profit, stood at 28.1 per cent, up from 17.4 per cent.
