“Scream 4” takes us 10 years after the events of “Scream”, and was the last Scream movie directed by Wes Craven before his passing. The original characters go up against and work with the new generation. Along with its tropes, “Scream 4” is a better sequel than “Scream 2” and “Scream 3”. Along with the kills, “Scream 4” also has stronger side characters. “Scream 4” is arguably one of the best Scream sequels, as it takes a new generation into the horrors of Woodsboro and works great as a “standalone” Scream movie.
