Avon Lake Community Council is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Citizen of the Year and Project of the Year. Nomination forms are available at Avon Lake Public Library, 32649 Electric Blvd. ; Avon Lake City Hall, 150 Avon Belden Road; and the city’s website, avonlake.org. Avon Lake Community is comprised of 30 community organizations that work together to coordinate and share information about resources and events available to the Avon Lake community and celebrate the people and organizations that make the city a great place to live, work, and play, the release stated.
