The controversy resurfaced after Shazia Manzoor addressed long-standing rumours suggesting she intentionally caused the on-stage mishap during Bridal Couture Week. The incident originally occurred in December 2021 when Alizeh Shah walked the ramp for designer Nisa Hussain’s bridal collection presentation. Video footage from the event circulated rapidly online, showing Shah slipping while Manzoor appeared to be holding her arm. In her message, Alizeh Shah also expressed hope that Shazia Manzoor’s career achievements would gain recognition without relying on controversy-driven publicity.
