17-year-old trainee engineer Alex Nicholson played a key role in the £60 million project to replace the 137-metre Clifton Railway Bridge in Cumbria, which carries the West Coast Main Line over the M6. "The Clifton Bridge job was a high profile, technically demanding project, and I knew I could trust him to deliver a great service. He said: "I’m incredibly proud to have worked on the Clifton Railway Bridge project. Alex has previously contributed to other large projects with Peacock Precision, including Cumberland Council’s multi-million-pound renovation of Market Square and Greenmarket in Carlisle city centre. Peacock Precision Services, founded in 2018, operates nationwide across sectors including rail, highways, housing, public sector and retail.
