Nita Jean Snyder, 75, of Fremont, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024, in the Elmwood Assisted Living & Skilled Nursing facility of Fremont, Ohio. Nita was born in Evansville, Indiana on July 4, 1948, the daughter of the late James Thomas and Julia Anna (Blakely) Hammonds. When she was five years old the Hammonds family moved across the Ohio River to Henderson Kentucky where Nita completed her first 12 years of education. On August 22, 1971, she married Frederic “Fred” Snyder in Austin, TX, and he survives in Fremont, Ohio.
