National Express have suspended coach stops in Winchester and Basingstoke as the M3 is closed in both directions between Junctions 8 and 9 from 9pm on Friday, January 30, until 6am on Monday, February 2. This affects National Express services 032 London to/from Southampton, 035, London to/from Weymouth and 160 Birmingham to/from Bournemouth. National Express have said that ‘unfortunately’ there is no alternative for Basingstoke’s Alencon Link Stop Z. National Express coachesService 032 will skip Winchester, operating continuously between Southampton and Heathrow Terminal 5. Service 160 will skip Winchester, moving with no stops between Oxford and Southampton.
