A Bucks County man has admitted to stabbing his elderly parents and adult sister to death, authorities say. Bucks County District Attorney Joe Khan and Northampton Township Police Chief Steve LeCompte announced the charges Wednesday in a news conference at the Bucks County Justice Center in Doylestown. The DA said the triple killing was a “brutal slaying” and asked for a moment of silence for the victims: 90-year-old Fred Castiglia, 84-year-old Judith Castiglia and 53-year-old Deborah Castiglia. All three died from stab wounds and the manners of death were each ruled a homicide by the Bucks County Coroner’s Office. The case was investigated by Bucks County detectives, led by Bucks County Police Detective Ronald MacPherson and Jeffrey Jumper, and Northampton Township Police, led by Township Police Detective Ryan Jumper.
