The Great British Bake Off's new judge Nigella Lawson has spoken about her main fear now that she has officially joined the Channel 4 baking show, following the departure of Dame Prue Leith after nine years. Speaking on today's This Morning, Nigella told hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley that she was "a teeny bit frightened" about her new role. "I think [one] of the reasons Bake Off has been so popular is that [it] feels like it's about community." Meanwhile, Prue Leith recently said that she was "thrilled" for Nigella to take over, stating: "She’s sassy, fun and she knows her onions – and her croissants, cake and crumble." The Great British Bake Off will return to Channel 4 later this year, while This Morning airs weekdays on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
