The Grundy County Nursing Home District Board of Directors authorized two operational changes during its meeting on Jan. 27, approving the acquisition of new equipment and a transition in television service for Sunnyview Nursing Home and Apartments. Administrator Jerry Doerhoff reported that the board approved the purchase of a new ice machine at a cost of $4,000. The equipment will replace the facility’s existing unit and is intended to support daily resident and staff needs. The board also approved a change in television service providers. Doerhoff said the new provider will charge the same rate as the current service, although a specific dollar amount was not disclosed.
