ELY — State Rep. Roger Skraba, R-Ely, has announced a campaign for reelection in 2026 to represent Minnesota House District 3A. "This is the best part of Minnesota and we can work together to make it even better," said Skraba in a news release. Born and raised in Ely, Skraba formerly served as that city's mayor. In a Tuesday campaign announcement, Skraba noted his experience serving on various legislative committees and being vice chair of the Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board. It overlaps with Senate District 3, currently represented by DFLer Grant Hauschild.
