Keith Clifton, of Tanyard Close, Horsham, was found guilty of the abuse following a two week trial, concluding on January 23, at Hove Trial Centre. It was heard Clifton first began abusing his victim when she was four years old, subjecting her to sexualised behaviour and sexual assaults. Clifton began to rape the girl on her 5th birthday, continuing on a regular basis until she was around 13 years old.
