Syracuse, N.Y. — A State Police investigator assigned to a federal fugitive task force was injured Wednesday morning while executing an arrest warrant in Syracuse, troopers said. Around 8:15 a.m., the task force members responded to 2000 Lodi St., Apartment B, where troopers attempted to arrest Cedric Cundiff, 67, according to Sgt. Cundiff was wanted in Massachusetts on a charge of first-degree robbery in connection with a robbery of a store at gunpoint, Keller said. Marshals Service, the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Parole as they attempted to arrest Cundiff, Keller said. As investigators approached the bedroom door, the state police investigator — who was positioned behind a protective shield — was injured.
