Claire Danes recently opened up about the “meltdown” she experienced after discovering she was pregnant with her third child at age 44. The “Homeland” star revealed on Tuesday’s episode of Amy Poehler’s “Good Hang” podcast that she called her OBGYN in “convulsive tears” after seeing the pregnancy test reading. Danes explained that the pregnancy was entirely unplanned, noting that she didn’t believe it was even physically possible at her age. Given the roughly five-year gap between her children—and the fact that she required two rounds of IVF to conceive Rowan—the natural, unexpected pregnancy came as a total shock. Danes welcomed her daughter in 2023.
