Add Philip Glass to the list of Kennedy Center cancelations. The “Einstein on the Beach” composer was supposed to debut his new Symphony No. 15, “Lincoln,” at the venue with the National Symphony Orchestra, led by Grammy-winning conductor Karen Kamensek, on June 12 and 13. Glass joins an ever-growing list of performers and artists who have canceled appearances and events at the Kennedy Center since Donald Trump’s re-election. Glass, 88, known was honored by the Kennedy Center in 2018.
