A 58-year-old man was found dead Wednesday morning from a gunshot wound to the chest in Harrisburg, authorities said. Harrisburg police said they were called around 11 a.m. to a home on the first block of North 18th Street, where they found Terence Dudley’s body, according to the Dauphin County Coroner’s Office. His death was ruled a homicide, the first in Harrisburg in 2026. Neighbors said there was a heavy police presence on North 18th Street on Wednesday, but they were shocked to learn about the homicide the next day. Police have not released any details on the circumstances of Dudley’s death or announced any arrests.
