Pennsylvania State Police say a Cumberland County truck-car collision on Route 34 Wednesday was caused by a third driver who left the scene.
The driver of the Subaru, later identified at 75-year-old Barbara Braband of Carlisle, had to be freed from her car by first responders.
Police said the driver of the overturned truck, which eventually slid into a home on the west side of the highway before coming to rest, was not hurt.
The first driver was last seen driving away from the scene of the crash, northbound on 34, police said.
PennDOT officials said Route 34 in Dickinson Township was kept closed until shortly before 5 p.m. for purposes of accident response, clean-up and investigation.
