The governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced that it will hold its National Delegates Conference on December 19, 2026, to elect new national party leaders. According to him, “Appeals will be done on Sunday, November 15 and Monday, 16th of November, 2026. Then, for the youth and women conference, we are looking at Saturday, the 12th December 2026.”“That congress will happen on Saturday, the 19th December, 2026,” he announced. Mr Kwetey explained that the exercise forms part of the party’s broader preparations to reorganise and strengthen its structures ahead of the 2028 general elections.
