Coca-Cola releases commemorative can for IU’s national championship winINDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Coca-Cola announced in a press release Thursday that they will be release a commemorative can to celebrate Indiana University winning the the CFP National Championship.
The new cans will arrive in Bloomington and Indianapolis stores during the week of February 3rd.
Coca-Cola will also be releasing commemorative glass bottles, but those will not release until August for the start of the next football season.
Vice President of consumer connections at Coca-Cola, Heather Hucks, said in a release, “Congratulations to the Indiana University Hoosiers on a phenomenal Championship run.
We are thrilled to celebrate alongside Hoosiers fans, by bringing them custom championship Coca-Cola cans to commemorate their first football national championship win.”Coca-Cola is a partner of Indiana University and Indiana University Athletics as its official fan refreshment and exclusive beverage partner.
