Klingsporn said several signs were aimed at Republican representatives, whom she believes are going against the majority of voters. She said they did not anticipate violence, describing the group as non-violent, and reported no incidents during the protest. Klingsporn said she began organizing in Sidney due to the difficulty of traveling to Scottsbluff to attend demonstrations. She said the group, known as RESIST, has grown to approximately 45 people throughout Cheyenne County and is working to build a local presence through organized demonstrations and outreach. "We have the power," Klingsporn said.
