At 10:12 p.m. on Jan. 28, an officer was flagged by an employee of a business in the 100 block of E. Tenth. The employee indicated the business was closed and was locked up, but had noticed that someone was sleeping inside in a hard-to-see area. He was charged with second-degree trespassing and for possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person and taken to jail, where he was initially held without bond, pending a court appearance. Contact was made with a woman who indicated she was in relationship with Sodlin Josaphat, 30. Josaphat was arrested and charged with assault by strangulation as well as third-degree domestic assault.
