WAITSFIELD, Vt. (WCAX) - Next to a covered bridge in Waitsfield sits a shop where the Christmas spirit lives on all year long. “Peter Pan said, ‘Never grow up,’ so we didn’t,” said Gaelic McTigue, who, along with her twin sister Bonnie, runs the shop. Bonnie, Gaelic, and their mother Irene came to Vermont from Chicago and never left. It’s in a cozy corner of the shop where Gaelic spends much of her days. “I’m very lucky to have such a talented sister,” said Bonnie, who helps out at the store on weekends.
