Greenville - Barbara Jean Cummings, 88, of St. Paul Home, Greenville, and formerly of Springfield Township, Mercer County, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026, at St. Paul Home. Barb was born in Springfield Township, Mercer County, on July 24, 1937, to Clarence R. "Skip" Drake and Vera G. Stitt Drake. She married Robert L. Cummings on Oct. 25, 1963, and he preceded her in death May 22, 1998. For many years, Barb served as the Springfield Township tax collector for real estate and wage tax. She is survived by her son, Kevin (Joy) Cummings of Ephrata, Pennsylvania; and three grandchildren, Nathan (Carlin), Theresa, Kelly; great-grandson, Connor Cummings; and brother, William Drake of Transfer.
