SANTA CRUZ — Thanksgiving might be over, but it is very much still turkey season in Santa Cruz. Specifically, The Dirty Turkeys, a self-described “acid cowpunk” band from Boulder, Colorado, who will be co-headlining a show at the Catalyst Club with Santa Cruz favorites Trestles Feb. 7. The Dirty Turkeys are essentially a sampler of historically left-of-the-dial genres. The show will also be The Dirty Turkeys’ first in Santa Cruz, which they are thrilled about. “I’ve only heard incredible things about it.”The show is 8 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Catalyst, 1011 Pacific Ave., Santa Cruz.
