The alleged thefts took place at Lakeside Shopping Centre and involved more than £2,500 worth of clothing and household items. The charges relate to incidents that reportedly took place between June 26 and November 7, 2025. Ms Williams is accused of stealing items including clothing and cushions from several shops at Lakeside Shopping Centre and Lakeside Retail Park. She was granted bail with the condition that she does not enter the Lakeside retail area in its entirety. Her next court appearance is scheduled for Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Basildon Magistrates’ Court.
