MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Crews from multiple fire departments around Monongalia County responded to a house fire that occurred a short drive away from the I-68/Grafton Road on and off ramps. Two people were also reportedly pulled from the home and treated by responders with Mon EMS on scene for unknown injuries. Crews with the Westover Volunteer Fire Department, the Triune Halleck Volunteer Fire Department, the Cool Springs Volunteer Fire Department, the Brookhaven VFD, Granville VFD, Star City VFD along with the Winfield VFD and Bunners Ridge VFD located in Marion County help quell the fire. An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing. No updates were given on the condition of the people that were inside the home.
