For the third year in a row, the Green River Wolves Cheer team finished its State competition on top, continuing a winning streak that has firmly established the program among the strongest in Wyoming. "As a group and as a team, they decided that what was best was to push forward with game day," Smart said. "There were a lot of people who were close to the team that were working against the team. Assistant Principal Thomas Castilian worked with the team to tailor training to the physical demands of cheer. "What comes to mind for me when I think of this team is resilient and strong," she said.
