Netta May Bott (Weymouth Funeral Home & Crematory)It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grand and great grandmother, Netta May Bott who left us from this life on January 17, 2026 at Riverside Regional Medical Center. Netta was born 91 years ago in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Gladys and Roy Richard who passed early in life and Netta was subsequently raised by her Aunt Dayse Veatch. After Ron retired from the USAF and the family settled in Newport News, Netta worked for 17 years at Grambro Medical Inc. and subsequently retired in 1992. Netta found great joy in her retired years (Ron retired permanently in 1993) as she assisted raising her beloved grand boys and she greatly expanded one of her hobbies: Quilting. Netta is survived by her husband, Ronald, of 73 years as well as her daughter, Karen E. Clemens; Son, David B. Bott (Martha) and grandsons, Michael Bott (Avorie) and Matthew Bott of Ft. Carson, Co.; granddaughters, Stephanie Galley (Tim) of Athol, ID plus one great-granddaughter, Catalina and one great-grandson, Brandon Reed.
