Over 200 properties in the Dyce area of Aberdeen are without power after an unplanned power cut, SSEN has confirmed. It is affecting 21 postcodes and 231 homes in the suburb, which lies six miles to the north of the city centre. The power company said they are working to “fix the problem as quickly as possible”. An online statement from SSEN said: “We have had to isolate your power due to a safety concern on our network. “Where possible, we will always try to keep the power on, however, there are situations like this where we need to isolate the power to keep people safe.
