The Siena Men’s Lacrosse team has drawn recognition in the USILA Preseason Men’s Division I Coaches Poll. Siena checks in 16th amongst the teams that are receiving votes in the week of Jan. 25 poll. 1 ranked team in the country with 623 points and 21 first-place votes out of a possible 32 votes from coaches. Maryland is followed by Syracuse (576 votes and one first-place vote), Princeton (573 votes and two first-place votes), followed by defending national champion Cornell (527 votes and five first-place votes) and Georgetown (483 votes and two first-place votes) rounded out the Top-Five. Siena fell to then RV/#19 UAlbany at Casey Stadium 11-9 on May 7 in a NCAA Opening Round match up.
