Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo) applauded the Department of Justice (DOJ) for creating an online portal for radioactive waste survivors to upload their claims for life-saving assistance. This comes after Senator Hawley's expansion of the Radioactive Exposure Compensation Act (RECA) was signed into law last year. In July 2025, Senator Hawley secured the largest expansion ever to the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA), signed into law as part of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. This new online portal will make it that much easier for Missourians to submit their claims and receive life-saving assistance. The RECA portal can be accessed here.
