Also bagging a place in the list is Bryn Williams' spot at Porth Eirias and Cardiff's The Ivy Asia. Butterflies' impressive addition to the most romantic restaurants in the UK follows their place on OpenTable’s Top 100 Restaurants in the UK 2025, in which they were the only Welsh restaurant named. It won best restaurant in Wales at the Best of Welsh Business Awards in 2024 through a public vote, and has previously won best restaurant in South Wales at the awards.
