San Diego Union-Tribune
Olivia Giaccio, the 25-year-old granddaughter of Adrienne and Manny Falzon, who are residents of Rancho Santa Fe (and Southampton, NY), is going to compete at her second Olympics as a mogul skier.
Giaccio will be a member of the U.S. team at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games (known as Milano Cortina) to be held Feb. 6-Feb. 22 at various sites across Lombardy and Northeast Italy.
Giaccio grew up skiing at a very young age in Vermont, Conn., and then it was on to the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club prior to joining the U.S.
Giaccio made history becoming the first woman to complete a cork 1080 with a World Cup win in Deer Valley, Utah, the news release stated.
She is a volunteer at Read Ahead, the Share Winter Foundation, Harper for Kids, and her local food bank.
