Paul was well aware of the great variety of false beliefs held by so many people in his day. Paul was concerned that some of the people to whom he had preached Christ might still be deceived by Satan’s emissaries. God provided great preachers, such as Jonathan Edwards, Charles H. Spurgeon, Billy Graham, and several others. I am so thankful that the great Creator of the universe and everything in it chose me to believe in Him and in the Lord Jesus Christ. I particularly love the verse that preaches, “My sin, not in part but the whole, is nailed to the cross and I bear it no more.” This verse applies to all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ.
