Federal funding is on the way to help Indiana communities recover from the severe weather that caused widespread damage early last year. The Federal Emergency Management Agency has approved more than $4 million in federal grant funding to support Indiana’s recovery from severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding in Spring 2025. What The FEMA Funding Will SupportAccording to FEMA, the funding will help reimburse communities for emergency actions taken to protect life and property following the storms. This includes repairs to roads, restoration of critical infrastructure, and other recovery efforts already completed by state and local agencies. To date, FEMA has provided more than $12 million to Indiana for road repairs, debris removal, power restoration, and critical infrastructure repairs related to this disaster.
