Speaking on Dwaso Nsem on Adom FM, Dr. Agyemang acknowledged that the contest, particularly in the Eastern Region, will be keenly fought due to the presence of a prominent aspirant from within the region. While declining to give specific percentage figures, Dr. Agyemang said the party’s internal expectations point to a decisive outcome in favour of Dr. Bawumia, especially across key regions. “I am very confident he will win at least 12 regions,” Dr. Agyemang said, stressing that the mood among delegates and grassroots supporters reflects strong backing for Dr. Bawumia’s candidacy. He attributed this confidence to what he described as Dr. Bawumia’s broad national appeal and acceptance across different regions and demographics within the party.
