The Confederation of African Football (CAF) released the figures Wednesday, revealing unprecedented fan interaction during the month long championship. The confederation secured 23 sponsors for Morocco 2025, up from 17 at AFCON 2023 in Ivory Coast and just nine at AFCON 2021 in Cameroon. AFCON 2025 recorded 121 goals across 52 matches, surpassing the previous record of 119 goals set during the 2023 edition. Ghana failed to qualify for AFCON 2025, missing the continental championship for the first time since 2004. The Morocco 2025 edition operated across stadiums in Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakech, Tangier, Agadir and Fez.
