Floor plan for the Bradley Jordan Memorial Community Gymnasium, construction, which will begin in the spring. After over a year of fundraising, the Bradley Jordan Foundation will break ground in the spring on the new gymnasium for Washington Island School. The organization has raised $4.51 million of its $5 million goal – enough to complete construction on the building, said Sue Cornell, Washington Island School administrator of business services. The nonprofit organization was founded in memory of school alumnus Bradley Jordan, who died in 2023 in Baileys Harbor after a motorist crashed into the motorcycle Jordan was driving.
