Rubrik has bolstered its leadership team with the strategic hire of former Databricks director of enterprise sales Benedict Benoit. He will join Rubrik in the newly created role of regional director for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ). Benoit will strengthen the local leadership team, as well as providing additional support to Rubrik’s field teams and partners as they improve cyber resilience capabilities for organisations across A/NZ. Rubrik A/NZ regional vice president Dave Rajkovic told ARN that Benoit has worked for over a decade in the data and AI space. Aside from his time at Databricks, where he worked for more than a year, Benoit has also worked at cloud-based data intelligence platform provider Collibara in a number of roles over an eight-year period.
