The impact caused the sedan driven by Deleon Dominguez to overturn and strike a bridge railing and movable barrier, according to the California Highway Patrol. Deleon Dominguez suffered major injuries and his passenger, 19-year-old Darolyn Reyes Rodas, was pronounced dead at the crash site. Deleon Dominguez pleaded guilty last month to vehicular manslaughter in a plea deal that called for the two-year term.
