Wisconsin’s first case of measles in 2026 was confirmed this week in a Waukesha resident, state health officials have reported. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported that the individual’s illness was “related to international travel.” Citing privacy concerns, the department withheld all other information, including demographic information about the patient and whether or not the individual was vaccinated.
