RACINE, WI – For the first time in the region’s history, NFL FLAG football will be available for high school girls, with the launch of the NFL’s new league of girls flag football.
The league is powered by NFL FLAG and driven by Green Bay Packers legend and Super Bowl champion Donald Driver.
Female students in grades 9–12 across Racine Unified, Kenosha Unified, and Whitefish Bay School Districts beginning in Fall 2026 will have the opportunity to play team football as a WIAA-sanctioned sport.
Flag football is another platform where girls can discover leadership, competitiveness, and self-belief in a space that has historically excluded them, he added.
