Weidner emailed City Clerk Tara McMenamin earlier this month seeking access to the city’s absentee voter list for the spring primary.
Her stated goal was to identify whether any ballots had been harvested, which means absentee ballots have been improperly collected.

In both Racine and Kenosha, clerks confirmed that voters request absentee ballots through the MyVote Wisconsin website, email, or paper forms.
§ 6.87, municipal clerks must follow specific procedures for issuing, tracking, and counting absentee ballots.
