The Police Service Commission (PSC) has appointed one Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG). The commission approved the promotion of two Assistant Inspectors-General of Police (AIGs) and over 26,119 Inspectors. The Head of Protocol and Public Affairs of PSC, Mr. Torty Kalu, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday in Abuja. Kalu said the newly promoted DIG had served as the AIG in charge of the Police Mobile Force (PMF), Force Headquarters, Abuja.
