Average Missouri gas prices rose 4 cents a gallon in last week

GasBuddy reports show average gasoline prices in Missouri have risen by 4 cents in the last week, with the lowest gas price in Cape Girardeau at $2.32.
According to a GasBuddy news release, a survey of more than 3,900 gas stations in Missouri averaged $2.51 per gallon.
The release states that reports showed the cheapest Missouri station was at $2.13 per gallon, and the most expensive was at $3.24 per gallon.
“Prices in Missouri are 3.2 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 34.0 cents per gallon lower than a year ago,” the release states.
The national average gasoline price has also seen an increase of 7.5 cents per gallon in the last week, with an average of $2.84 per gallon.
