Baltimore native and comedian Stavros Halkias will perform stand-up at Lyric Baltimore – and a third show has just been added due to popular demand. Originally from East Baltimore’s Greektown neighborhood, Halkias now resides in Queens, New York. The comedian has climbed to fame, appearing in projects like the Netflix comedy series “Tires” and the film “Bugonia,” the latter of which was nominated for the Golden Globe Awards and Academy Awards. Last year, Halkias also appeared with fellow Baltimorean John Waters on the Netflix variety show “Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney.” On their episode Halkias and Waters talked about The Club Charles, “The Wire,” Greektown, and more. Halkias now hosts the podcast “Stavvy’s World,” featuring celebrities, comedians, and other guests, as well as calls from listeners.
