Credit: Courtesy Photo / Giant NoiseHomegrown culinary competition Titans of Tailgate is back this Sunday for its ninth year — and this time with San Antonio celebrity chef Jason Dady partnering with Culinaria, the nonprofit behind the event. Top San Antonio chefs including PJ Edwards of Meadow Neighborhood Eatery, Berty Richter of Ladino, Esaul Ramos of 2M Smokehouse, Nicola Blaque of The Jerk Shack and others will take part in the high-octane competition. Representatives from six area high schools are even scheduled to take part in the competition, battling alongside the culinary pros. $50-$150, 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, The Rock at La Cantera, 1 Spurs Way, therockatlacantera.com.
