A stray dog named Walker was recently brought to Kent County Animal Shelter in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The animal shelter called the owner, Julie.
As it turns out, Walker had gone on a journey, landing himself 50 miles away from home.
Angela Hollinshead, director of Kent County Animal Shelter, told Newsweek that Julie raced to the shelter.
Julie felt instant relief.
