(DIPR Photo)Dimapur, January 29 (MExN): The Ministry of MSME, Government of India, through the MSME Development and Facilitation Office (DFO), Dimapur, in association with the Department of Industries and Commerce and District Industries Centre (DIC), Dimapur, organised a one-day market awareness workshop under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme at the East Dimapur Town Council Hall, Purana Bazar, Dimapur on January 28.
Financial literacy and the loan component under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme were explained by Rongsenyangla, Lead District Manager, State Bank of India.
A special helpdesk under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) scheme was also set up to facilitate credit-related queries for trained artisans.
The PM Vishwakarma Scheme is a Central Sector Scheme aimed at recognising and empowering traditional artisans and craftspeople engaged in 18 identified trades which are deeply rooted in India’s cultural and occupational heritage.
