Dental care will continue for thousands of Sioux Falls elementary students despite a major change in how services are delivered.
The Sioux Falls School District learned recently that Delta Dental of South Dakota would no longer provide free dental care through its mobile dental unit beginning this month.
ADVERTISEMENTUnder the new arrangement, dentists from Falls Community Dental will begin operating the mobile unit Feb. 9.
The mobile unit will now function as a Falls Community Dental site.
“Now the Falls dental staff can go home every night when the bus is being used,” she said.
